Recipes
Every guided workflow in VpsPilot is a recipe: a plain text file that lists steps. Each step has the command to run and a check that proves it worked.
Built-in recipes
Initial setup, backup and restore, transfer and migration, scheduled jobs, services and logs, and Docker ship with the app.
Preview before running
Steps that change access, the firewall, data or packages are marked as risky. You can preview the exact commands before anything runs.
Your own recipes
You can import a recipe file or write one in the in-app editor. Your recipes are validated and get the same safety checks as built-in ones, and a dry run shows the commands they would run. You can export and share them.
Responsibility
You are responsible for the commands that run on your own servers. Read the preview before you continue.
